| - As an update, I am moving OneGuard up to three stars. They refunded me the $59 I paid to fix for damage to the shower valve that Pruitt's Plumbing caused. The leaky shower had started literally at the exact moment the tub valve slammed violently shut due to Pruitt's first error (they made many) in my saga.
So why three stars?
On the negative side... Read the review this is an update of. Some of One Guard's service providers provide sub par service.
On the positive side... As noted, we were with them for ten years. In that time, we had a dishwasher, microwave, and water heater replaced, along with various faucet drips fixed.
While the process was not always smooth (we lived with a water heater that would shut off randomly for over a year - since no service provider actually saw it shut off, they would not replace it, until, mercifully, one of the providers finally was there when the pilot light went out without reason), they did meet their end of the contract.
And in this most recent case, despite Pruitt's Plumbings claims, we ended up getting refunded for the service call when Pruitt's fixed damage they had caused.
We are no longer OneGuard customers and have decided to live problem to problem and choose who our service providers are ourselves. Whether we made the right choice will play out in the future.
