  • My bf and I were in Vegas for a night just to watch a show and have a nice dinner. I heard a lot about Zumanity and my gf had mentioned she loved this show. I'm always intrigued with burlesque, cabaret, and just all the sexy fantasy that shows has to offer. We got our tickets online for $200.16 total. We wanted to get the later show so we can have dinner before, but the good seats were all taken so we went for the earlier time at I believe 7. We did go around Christmas so the tickets were a little cheaper. Located at New York Hotel we had a tough time trying to find it. We had to ask around a few times. As we got in they ask if you want to take a picture. They give you a ticket to see your pictures after the show and if you want to purchase them. I did like one of them but it was $40 for 2 pictures! Uhm no thanks, I'll just take a selfie. As we walked in we were guided to our seats. The theatre is pretty small. Not as grand. It was a bit hot inside too. They have a few skits for distraction before the show starts. 2 couples who reminded me of the couples from Absinthe. Just being dirty and picking on crowds, loved it. The ones that stood out were the two ladies in a margarita glass that had water inside. They swam in in at did some wonderful acrobatic poses. It was soft and innocent and just beautiful to look at. My other favorite was these 2 pairs, a man and a woman. She was dressed in lingerie as a Breakfast in Tiffany kind of vibe. They danced in a very sexy and seductive way, throwing her in the air, and all kinds of sexy moves. It made you want to grab your man and try it out. Other than those 2 everything else was just okay. One scene of these 2 men fighting in a cage. I heard my bf saying "this is going to be good", nope it was not good at all. All they did was just fight, in a cheesy way that reminds me of 80's fight scene in movies where it's just hard to watch and the movements seem so rehearsed. This seemed more like if they were just trying to kill time for other to get dressed and prepare for the next scene. The couples were funny when picking people from the crowds. They were just raunchy but funny. To keep this short out of all the plays only 2 were my favorite. Being cirque du soleil I expected more acrobatics, some of the ooohhh and ahhhh and that je ne sais quoi. I always expected something better on the next one, or it will get better, but it always just maintained. If it did not have cirque in the name/title than It would have made more sense. But too much expectations from the name, I felt disappointed. The singing and costumes were nice but Id save my money and suggest go watch Absinthe! That was more of a cirque vibe with lots of circus entertainment.
