| - WOW !!! I have driven by here a dozen times and never noticed. I don't believe after tonight that I will drive by again, I'll drop in for the absolutely best Fish and Chips ($13.99) in town, period. This is really an experience. Kathy at the register and Larry in the kitchen, kudo's for them both. Great service and great personalities.
My wife and I are retired from the Airlines, she was a Flight Attendant and I was a Pilot. I have flown all around the world and eaten at some of the finest restaurants. Maybe the ambiance was better but the food, East Coast Eats is right up there with the best. I had the Fish and Chips (Haddock), 3 pieces, fresh fish, beautiful light breading and the best tartar sauce ever. Even the coleslaw was wonderful. I had to try the clam chowder, I hate to repeat myself, but WOW, WOW, WOW. I am a chowder affectionado and this was certainly in the top two, if not this best, I have ever had. It was rich and creamy and tasted just like you were at the ocean.
My wife had the junior roast beef sandwich ($4.99) three ways, which still isn't a joke in portion size. It was a little better since there was a creamy horseradish sauce, mayo, and American cheese. It's a whopper of a sandwich. The BBQ sauce is magnificent (spicy). You might want to get it on the side. Just loved it. The meat was cooked perfectly nad very tender. No Arby's here, just real fresh roast beef.
I cannot wait to go back and try the full belly clams. Maybe tomorrow? I know one thing for sure, we will be back soon. My mouth is still watering. Thank's again to Kathy and Larry for the best meal ever!
