I came to this casual cajun joint with low expectations because hubby had tried the shrimp & grits and didn't like it much. But that's not a traditional cajun dish, so I was happy to try it. It has seating both indoors and outdoors and despite the counter ordering, I was impressed by the attentive service to the table. Their challenge is that there's no street visibility, only Light Rail visibility, but you could park in Circle Apartments parking lot off Bland or South & Rensselaer.
We tried the crawfish étouffée and jambalaya, and both really loved our respective dishes. Each came with a cheddar biscuit that was surprisingly delicious and crave worthy. They also offer NOLA favorites gumbos, red beans and rice and Po boys, which we look forward to trying. I just hope they hang in there and get some signage on South so they make it.
