It's a renovated modern hotel in the central part of Downtown, which is convenient. Nice modern decor with a cozy feel that reminds you that you are in a historic building, of a sort. The lobby is beautiful and there is a winding staircase in the back, like a medieval castle. The only downside is that if you do stay in the older section of the building, you will WAIT for hot water. Like 15-20 minutes.
Beyond that no complaints. There is valet parking for $28 CAD and the staff are very helpful and kind. There is a nightclub in the building but we did not hear anything too loud. They also offer a car service within 2.5 km and there is a Tim Horton's down the street that is open 24 hours. If you are from the US, it is very similar to The Standard and the 21C.
