  • I love this store (retail and also online mec.ca) I was a beginner runner and not comfortable with splurging on too much run gear like blinking night lights, reflective gear, hydration belts. Well, the 1st time I was at Mec I was surprised to see tons of selection, affordable prices (vs your standard sport chek and running room prices) - made me comfortable to shop there and expand my running wardrobe and gear. Gotta love the website too. Fast delivery and free if you spend over $50. I like that they value ratings and reviews on their website. I actually take the feedback into high consideration on which size and item to buy. LOVE that I got an awesome red windbreaker for $29 with tons of reflective strips on it, something like that at different stores would easily cost 3 to 4x more. (shop their clearance, tons of variety for really awesome value). I've directed tons of friends to the store whenever we talk about any sporting gear. oh - thumbs up as well for the people that work there. They reuse plastic packaging as shopping bags - I love that! Great job mec!
