I've only been here once, when a date was treating, so I didn't pay a lot of attention to cost.
We each had a cocktail and shared a bottle of wine before ordering food. I can't remember much about what we each ordered, but I was really excited by the food. A of foodie-type places in Madison are pretentious to the detriment of the food, which quickly becomes overpowered by conflicting spices and flavors. But here, it all seemed to work well. They knew when to pull back and when to dive in.
We also shared a plate of cookies for dessert. Even the cookies that contained ingredients I usually avoid, like coconut, were amazing.
And if you don't finish your wine, you can cork it to go. Hooray!
