Almost every year since 2005 I have attended CES.
Every year I think I'm not going to enjoy it and I have never not had fun!
Every year I fall in love with something I have to have. A few years ago it was my Nikon D700 and in 2014 it was my Samsung WaterWall dishwasher.
In 2011 (I think) it was the first time I got to sit in a Tesla S. That's when I fell in love.
The last few years we have enjoyed test driving the i3 BMW but haven't got one yet. I think my family in another state have ones on their service/dealer for loaner cars and they love them, just not enough range for us on the 100% electric model.
It was the first time people got to see Polaroid make a "comeback" :)
Back in the day it was the first time consumers got to see 3D TV's, 90" home TV's and other ground breaking home entertainment.
Drones were displayed, China and Israel trinket tables are setup, Otterboxes are tested.
If you are lucky enough to go on the last day (afternoon) when companies start breaking down...you will leave with bags of iPhone cases, iPad cases, trinkets and actual products if they are feeling generous! Seriously they were stopping me to take the packaged items. It happen to me two years in a row! (09' and 10')
Go if you can, you will not be disappointed!!!!!
