They're a great gym, and I love all of the great amenities they provide for a very reasonable $20 per month fee. The total body rejuvenation is an amazing way to end my workout, as well as the chair massage and the hydromassage. The tanning beds are also great! However one thing that is very disheartening to me, is the way employees are handling customer concerns. Twice now I've spoken with Martin regarding people sitting on their phones on machines in the 30 minute express workout area. Both times he was very ill prepared to discuss my issue... the 30 min workout area is designed to be done in it's entirety in order of the numbered machines. The signage is so small that if you don't walk up to it you may not realize that the workout is designed in a specific manner... so it is understandable to not necessarily know but the signage needs to be way more visable as I'm paying monthly to only sometimes be able to do a workout that is friendly to beginners as it is only a 30 minute time commitment... this evening Martin advised me he's had conversations with management about this specific issue but they are unsure what they are going to do yet... signage posted states the room is checked upon frequently by staff, however in my two weeks of membership and almost daily trips to the gym, I haven't seen anyone check. The issue is, that people using the machines out of order, and sitting on their cellphones and not even remotely working out, take up the space that I am trying to use to better my health. There are plenty of the same machines on the regular gym floor, staff should be redirecting people to those especially when I've voiced my concern multiple times and no one ever walked over to even address it. It's a shame for me as i was planning on signing my husband up, and am now reconsidering.
