  • I am updating my review and keeping it at 5 stars! Recently I started thinking about adding another gun to my arsenal. I did some research online and found a gun that I liked. I called DGS and left a message. About an hour or so later, Sherry called me back. She spent about 15 minutes on the phone with me offering me alternatives. She said that she didn't recommend the gun that I was interested in. Nonetheless I told her that I will wait awhile before stopping in. Fast forward to a few weeks later. I was interested in buying a Glock 19 (Gen 3 or Gen 4). My friend Steve was also interested in tagging along with me because he wanted to look at some riffles. I called and left a message. Again, Sherry called me back and she made the appointment. On the morning of the appointment, I received an email from Glock advertising their new Gen 5 models. I had not heard about this model prior to receiving the email. After work, my friend and I arrived at DGS at my scheduled appointment time. Sherry greeted me and said that the Gen 5's will be shipped to her in 3 days and that I should wait to see if I liked it before I buy a Gen 3 or 4. I explained to her that I would like to see the Gen 5 but I was not going to spend any money and I was just seeking information. She said that it's no problem at all and scheduled me another appointment for the arrival day of the Gen 5. I thought that this was real nice of her because she already knew that I wasn't going to make a purchase and still blocked out a half hour for me. She didn't make me feel compelled to buy anything. So over the weekend, I went to the bank and actually withdrew cash for the Gen 5 because I really wanted it. I went back to DGS in 3 days and Sherry greeted me. I told her that if I like the Gen 5, I will buy it now! Thirty minutes later, I was walking out with my new Glock 19. I really like DGS. They simplify the buying process and are completely honest. They even gave me a price match from another local store which happened to send me an email with their price. This place is a ten when it comes to the ideal buying experience. Thanks Sherry, Jim, and of course Francesca!
