This place is a great choice if you want Japanese food other than sushi. The lunch/dinner combinations are fairly priced and comes with a miso soup, small salad, gyoza, and a chicken skewer. I'm also a big fan of their udon soup. I got the nabe-yaki udon during their dinner hours and it was delicious! Everything here tasted fresh and very authentic.
The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because the air in the restaurant felt a little warm and humid. The air conditioning was operated by ceiling fans, so it doesn't help when you're eating hot food. It can also be a little awkward when you're the only table sitting there because there's no music playing in the background.
This place is definitely a hole in the wall, but the food is great!!!!
