  • We hired Mr. Riggs to represent my husband after his ex-wife attorney shady dealings. In short my husband paid a lot of money in child support due to his income. The company laid off almost 50% of the work force and my husband along with it. We lost our house, vehicle and had a total of 4 children to care for. After 14 months of a lot of legal issues to work through we ended up in court to try and get support modified. My husband's income decreased 90% by this time. Paul was unfamiliar with the judge presiding over my husband's case in court downtown in Phoenix. He actually went down about a week before our case just to sit in court and observe how the judge ran his court. Let me tell you, he was simply fantastic in his presentation of the facts and questioning/cross examination techniques. He had my husband's ex's attorney looking like a fool. He has this ability to ask a question and you feel like you are being drilled. But he is professional and not demeaning. The judge sided completely with my husband and in the end SHE ended up owing HIM for over paying from time papers were originally filed. Of course, we never saw any of that. But the satisfaction that we got - if you try to do the right thing with integrity - and that was important to us to find an attorney that had integrity - things work out in the end. And we definitely owed it all to Mr. Riggs.
