  • in the 'hood of my office, there are few places to pick up a good cup o' joe. i worked in the huntington building for three years before i had a cup of coffee here. and the day that i actually did, i said to myself ... "self??? what the hay-howdy were you thinking??? this is darn good coffee!!!" cork and beans offers a sweeter cup, if you're looking at their mochas or lattes faire. i haven't had one of their regular ol' cups of coffee, but i'd imagine it's pretty darn good. for a section of the land of cleves that doesn't offer up much in the beanery land, it is a happy day to discover this place is right there. though if you're not familiar with the huntington building, know you have to go a bit downstairs to find it. i also enjoy the cool giftables they have for all those holidays we tend to forget. giftables such as nice wines, beer baskets, gourmet candy bars, etc etc etc. and they're so nice. yay.
