Had a UPS package to be delivered to my home. I rerouted it to be picked up at this store. They had not let me know it arrived, but since I was tracking it, I called in to confirm if it was there a day later. I was slightly irritated as I had just arrived home and had to go back out to pick up the package. To my surprise, when I arrived they were gracious about the mistake instead of being defensive. They were genuinely apologetic. There were three people ahead of me and they helped everyone quickly so the wait was not an added frustration. The person who helped me had long brown hair but I could see the other person working was also hustling to help the guests.
Things will happen and we will all get frustrated on both sides of a situation. It is how an employee of a business chooses to handle things that dictates much of how the experience will end for the guest. In this case, great job!
