  • Yes they are greasy: cheese curds are battered, deep friend cheese- of course it's GREASY! If your pizza slice is greasy, it's a bad sign, you should question that. If your deep friend food is greasy, this means it's fresh out of the deep frier, and hasn't been sitting out on the counter for the past 30 minutes, draining; it's a good sign. Yes they melt together: good cheese curds use good batter, good batter needs to cook, cooking leads to cheese MELTing. If you enjoy cheese curds like 1 year olds enjoy their first taste of solid foods: in individual, bite size bits, you're gonna have to go to a place that uses bad batter for their curds. But if you are a proper Wisconsin adult, you will have bite. No the cheese they use is not bland.
