Mere moments ago my wife and I just finished what may be the most ridiculous grocery shopping we've ever had to endure. Not only are many of the shelves empty as they decided to do a remodel during a weekday, daytime hours, you can't even pass thru the aisles. I could deal with that though, after all maybe their intentions is to better the shopping experience. It was the checkout that defied all logic. All the previous self-checkout stations are gone.. removed. What they installed in their place is a so called "quick check" and checker. Bottom line.....now there are people lined up to check out all the way back to the empty shelves. I just wonder who in their right mind thought it was a step up to remove multiple self checkout counters in favor of one staffed aisle. Anyone wanna guess the union is behind that change? Anyway, when I complained, do you know what the cashier said? "I can't do anything about it. You have to call the 877 number at the bottom of the receipt". She couldnt be bothered to tell the manager. Okay..so being irritated. I attempted a call. Over a 9 minute wait. Just try to work your way though their voicemail system. Impossible. Anyway......they lost a customer for life. Cavalier attitude...irreverence for their customers. Horrible management. Walmart neighborhood market from niw on. See ya.
