I found the stay surprisingly enjoyable. The soap smelled amazing. The pre threaded sewing kit was SUPER handy. The front desk staff was very sweet. And we had a view of the lake from our room.
The location is convenient for people who want to be downtown and they have a parking garage, removing the stress of downtown parking.
I wasn't crazy impressed with the bar selection and drinks were about $10 each. Breakfast had omelettes that were decent but the prepared food was middle of the road standard hotel fare. The service was very good though.
The rate we paid was reasonable because we had a discount through CWRU for graduation. At the price we paid I would give 4 stars. If it were a higher rate, I might be inclined to go with three. But the staff was so friendly that I'm swayed to the 4-star side.
Overall I would recommend it if you can get a good rate. And if there is something you're not happy with, let them know and they seemed fairly accommodating.
