rev:text	I had been having some problems with low energy and fatigue awhile back so I made the quickest appointment I could through UPMC and the Lawrenceville location was the only one available. Upon entering it is much more like a community clinic. The receptionists and nurses are extremely nice and so was my doctor. Dr. Stevens was very helpful and instead of suggesting some type of script she did blood work to see if I had any deficiencies. I did! My vitamin D3 was so low and because of that my immune system was not working properly. I kept getting a recurring cold. I was also on the anemia edge. I like meat but don't eat it that often in my diet. It's more of a splurge. Plus I don't like chicken so that lessens my options quite a bit. The Dr started me on the vitamin. I did get a very high prescription dose of 50,000IU of D3 and I noticed a difference in mood and energy right away. You can also go out into the sun for 20min but during winter and living in Pittsburgh counting on the sun isn't an option. I felt so comfortable with the Dr. that I also made my appointment for my yearly girly exam with her too. I think everyone has trust issues when they are dealing with de-pantsing in front of another person but it went smoothly and I felt comfortable. I mean I understand what it takes considering I'm giving out Brazilian's for permanent hair removal at my office! Yesterday I was there for some continued follow up blood work and she made me get a tetanus shot! Needles not anyone's favorite but if you make it quick! No biggie! I will most likely keep working with Dr. Stevens wherever she goes in Pittsburgh because I love the holistic approach she uses but my experiences have been grand at this center so far.
