  • This review is only for the zipline and dine experience. In summary - a fantastic, inexpensive, 2 hour experience, ending with beer and dinner. In this experience, we were in a group of 6 and got to go on 5 zips varying in lengths, crossed 2 bridges and then shimmied down backwards to get back to the ground, ( not in order) In the beginning you put on all the gear and on the first zip you are taught how to break on the lines....while wearing gross, old, sweaty, unpleasant feeling and looking gloves that have been worn by hundreds of people before you. We had a great group of strangers, our instructors were amazing (wish I could remember their names- always happens ) the zipping experience was so much fun. I was reaaaaaaallly nervous in the beginning but then it's exhilarating and you don't want to stop! The reason it takes 2 hours to do just 5 zips, is waiting for the group in front of you to complete a zip, and then there are safety checks before each person zips, and then waiting for your entire group to finish a zipline. Now that I have done it. I would prefer something more fast paced, or included more zips, or if they let us finish off on the zip that crosses the whole centre. I also wish they would have told us we could have our phones on us, in a pouch provided by them. I have 0 pictures!! After the zipping was done, we went to have dinner and drinks and my goodness.. What a way to end an evening.. This open wooden cabin- bench seating - sunset views - surrounded by nature - ugh it was fabulous. We got 2 drink tickets and they had someone serving wine, and someone serving beer, as well as representatives from each winery/brewery. We had wicked blueberry wheat beer. I had a vegetarian meal, which was quinoa with brussel sprouts parsnips and a parsnip purée... I am picky AF when it comes to what I eat but I swear I could have licked this plate. For those who opt for regular meals, it is buffet style, salad/meat/seafood/dessert. We took an uber from the Westin Charlotte and it cost 25$ each way. This option for the zipline and dine was 75$ per person. I need to find something similar in Ontario- I can't wait to zipline again now.
