  • The branch manager reached out to address the issue / experience I had at this airport location. He was polite and professional, unlike his employee who was out for a one time commission rather than getting a repeat customer based on their service. Couple of reasons why I only raised this by 1 star...... 1. He initial response did not reassure me this issue / behavior was going to be addressed. He was more focused on checking my contract #, with no apology at all. He then started explaining to me how I was charged, which completely ignored the issue at hand of how they charged me double / late return penalty BEFORE I even rented the car. Simply because I entered the wrong return time (am/pm). It was 2 days regardless, but I was charged double for day 2 due to the "late return / extra day". Why not just correct it and book it correctly. 2. Because of this, I wasn't confident behavioral issues were going to be address. Which I believe he did not, until I brought it up. Then then said this has been discussed with the agent who booked me, and to the team to improve their services going forward. Wether he did it or not, a response goes a long way. At the end of the day, he did end up refunding me for the double charge / penalty, which I greatly appreciate. But, this doesn't change the service level issue that was there, and a lack of effort in resolving with an obvious issue until I pressed them on it. Which is why i only improved this by 1 star. Conclusion: 1. they are cheap (price), cars are often rented out first. If you are looking for value, they are one of the options. 2. However, check price line item by line item. If there's an issue, resolve it there and then. 3. If the agent threatens about not buying added insurance, and how they are going after you if something happens, tell him to go f himself.
