Bloordale/ Bloorcourt is slowly becoming a mecca for great bars with cool vibes. Three Speed is no exception.
I've gone dozens of times for brunch. The standard Bacon and Eggs are pretty average, but they have different specials weekly which is what are the true stars. On a recent jaunt I had these out of the world baked eggs. They were in a tomato sauce with spinach and cremini mushrooms. The portion was more than generous, in fact as I write this my mouth is watering thinking of it. Apparently they also make one of the better caesars in the city, you can't take my word for it because I can't do clamato juice, looking at other patrons drinks, it looks good. Coffee comes by half or full bodum, which is perfect for sharing.
They also have a really decent looking dinner menu, again I haven't had a chance to eat dinner there, but if brunch is any indication then it's probably awesome.
I have also frequented Three Speed later in the evening for drinks. They have a decent selection of beer and it's pretty well priced for the neighbourhood.
Another bonus for them is that they have a gorgeous back patio, complete with a wood burning oven and nice communal tables. There aren't too many patios in Bloordale / Bloorcourt so it's a nice addition to a slowly booming neighbourhood.
