  • Now THIS is what a movie theater should be! For years, the only movie theater anywhere near my house was the Cinedome 12. Going anywhere else in town was a huge inconvenience for a number of reasons. But in 2007, Regal opened a theater in the Fiesta Henderson. I had been to their theaters a few times around town at different random times, and had always been impressed (apart from the parking situations and having to walk through casinos (in most cases.)) Once you go Regal, you never go back. First and foremost, this place has plenty of parking options. You can use the multi-story garage, or park in the lots surrounding the building (south side has the most direct entrance.) Either way, you hardly have to go through the casino at all to reach the theater itself. The theaters themselves are very large and roomy, and have massive, high-quality screens. Unlike the Cinedome, 3D showings of films usually DO occur here. The theaters are almost always clean and you will very rarely have a hard time finding a seat. The snack bar is MASSIVE, and has pretty much everything you could ever want during your cinematic experience - and MORE. Sure, you've gone to the movie theater and gotten candy and nachos - but what about personal pizzas, hot dogs, and soft pretzels? Hell, this place has as many food options as the Fiesta's whole food court! The theater itself has no arcade, however there is one just outside the theater, by the food court of the Fiesta, so no complaints there. And it is a full-sized, decent arcade - not the half-assed experience you get at the Cinedome where all the machines are old and half of them are out of order. The cinema is easy to get around as well - the individual theaters are in a straight, ramping upward corridor, with bathrooms conveniently located in the center of the hall. This is a very nice improvement over places like the Cinedome where you have to walk all the way to the front of the theater just to use the restrooms. This is the best theater in Henderson, hands down. If you want to go see a movie, this is the place to go. Believe me, even if the Cinedome is closer to your house (and it IS in my case), it's worth going the extra mile or so.
