I have been to several Rudy's in the Austin area, really nice to see this location in AZ. We stopped in and ordered a feast for 8 of us and we really enjoyed it. The Rudy's method of wax paper and trays is pretty fantastic, other Rudy's will have a roll of paper towels at the table. This location you have to track down napkins (not too hard to find). Picture 8 people ready to eat the biggest meal of their life.. The food.. The brisket was great, the Turkey was fantastic.. The green chili is really a winner, everyone agreed this was the silent champion. Service was really kind and helpful, they even had a 20% off discount on a Monday to respect Veterans within our party which was really generous and respectful. The jumbo baked potato was great, the beans were pretty good and the cole slaw rather average. I give them 5 stars for Brisket 3 ways and Turkey, the green chili is the game changer and the other sides are fairly pedestrian. I will be back to this location, others in Texas and beyond. Solid breakfast tacos as well. I would say that the pork spare ribs from the Rudy's of 620 in Austin are better than the ones in Litchfield, AZ. But that's about the only negative I can come up with. That sause.. mmm yum..
