I asked to be contacted in the evening because I work 8-4 every weekday. I was contacted around mid-day. Here are the details of my last experience at Town and Country Toyota:
I was on time and drove up and your initial clerk checks her sheet of paper and says, "You right here on this b****" referring to my name being first on her piece of paper. That is the first interaction your customers have with your employees. I get out of the car and meet Dave who checks the car out and immediately makes recommendations for more work to be done that is not necessary. I stated that I am not interested and will be selling the car soon and would just like a quick maintenance done. He tells me it should be an hour and asks if I will be waiting. I said no and I left to eat lunch. He calls me in about 45 minutes with a list of 3 more recommendations totaling about $500-600 that are also completely unnecessary other than the tire alignment. The tires were already being rotated and I thought this should be part of the maintenance, so I declined and asked for the work to be done. He told me the car would be ready in 15 minutes. I got back 20 minutes later and the car was not ready. I waited 15 more minutes and Dave had walked passed me twice without acknowledging me. I waited about 10-15 more minutes and then went into the station where he was on the phone and looked down and remained on the phone for 5 minutes without looking at me. He did not recognize me and also called me by the wrong name. After his call, he decides to tell me that my car has been ready and to just go to the cashier. I then waited 4th in line for another 15 minutes or so to find out that the cashier did not have my keys. I wait 5 minutes for this to be sorted out because my car number had been written down incorrectly. I finally got my car and Dave tells me to have a good weekend. My service was on Tuesday. After that, my car came around and had spilled soda on the passenger seat that was not there before. I noticed this when I was off the property and came home and cleaned it.
The service at Town and Country is usually slow and usually makes bogus recommendations to me, but this was laughable. Every aspect that could have gone wrong, did.
