| - I went last Sunday at around 9-10PM looking for some last drinks before leaving Montreal. The atmosphere is dark, built sort of like a pub. It was pretty crowded for a Sunday night, but we were seated pretty close to one other couple. I noticed that there was only one waiter tending to almost every table and another guy running around as a busboy, then there were two bartenders behind the bar. They still seemed short-staffed though, because we had to wait awhile.
Drink menu was really unique too, which was impressive! Each cocktail had their own photo, a description, and a rating of how strong the alcohol content is (1-5)! I loved how they had a photo and the rating for each and every drink because I didn't want to make the mistake of ordering something bad if I wanted to try something new! Most of the drinks were served in mason jars, and decorated nicely with fruit, vegetables, etc.!
I completely forgot the names of my orders because my boyfriend and I ordered so much, but if you grab hold of the menu and compare the photos, you can definitely tell what I ordered! ALSO, MAKE SURE YOU TIP YOUR WAITER. They work VERY hard here and ours appreciated the tip so much that I felt really bad when I read somewhere on the Yelp page that they don't usually get even a decent tip. It's a very popular bar and our waiter definitely showed that he cared when our orders were coming out in a slow manner (I guess I also looked pretty impatient, but felt better when he apologized and reassured that the drinks were still coming out). TIP TIP TIP! And enjoy your photogenic drinks :)
