Okay for somewhere you're just going to sleep at night this is probably my favourite hotel now...
When you walk in it's clean, lots of windows and comfy chairs, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cute antique little suites small enough that the shower/bathrooms are definitely 1 person fits only (for a married couple used to sharing showers this is something to keep in mind), and if you're not watching what you're doing if you get up from the toilet you risk bopping your head on the sink... the decor was antiques but the bed itself was modern and comfortable. The tv worked so we watched something before bed, and my folks next door never heard a thing (we didn't hear their tv either). So soundproofing is good.
We had one of the best sleeps of our entire vacation in that room. The next morning we were well rested, ready to continue on our way but first comes the complimentary breakfast! Oh man I'd stay here again just for the breakfast! It's not your typical continental...it's a sit down hot breakfast with a pretty big menu and the option of adding things for a small extra charge (when the meal is free that's not a bad thing). I decided to go with the french toast and fruit, not knowing what to expect but thinking I'd treat myself to something I haven't had in years.
The french toast was a large enough portion that with the generous amount of fruit (more than I've seen on any Cora's breakfast plate) honestly anything extra would have been too much. The french toast was flavourful, soft and fluffy, soaking up syrup nicely. The fruit was fresh and delicious. Just the right way to start the day.
I definitely would stay here again if I'm in this part of Nevada.
