After looking through Yelp for a reputable service advisor at Chapman BMW Chandler, I contacted Tony Disalvo about getting my recalled airbag replaced. He instructed me to wait for an official letter in the mail which I eventually received, and contacted him to schedule an appointment. I went in today, and had the service completed in about an hour. Although I had a family friend with me, and the official BMW letter states that loaner vehicles are available while the recalled airbag is being replaced, Tony said he doesn't normally give loaners for recalls and said there were none available. I'm pretty sure several of the vehicles I saw parked along the service bay were loaners but I'm not positive, plus I didn't want to make a fuss about having to wait. We spent our time in the waiting area, and helped ourselves to a coffee and donut. We conversed with a couple of friendly salesman (one of which was a kind man by the name of Bits). My only complaint besides not being given the opportunity to take a loaner for an hour is the sour receptionist who stared at us with a very unfriendly look on her face. She was a younger white female. Overall, it was a better experience than that I received at BMW North Scottsdale.
