I can now confirm with 100% certainty that Alfredo's is permanently closed. Yesterday (July 23, 2014) at about 6:00PM I was walking by Alfredo's, it was closed as it has been for the past few days and the lights were off. I peaked in the windows and noticed that all of the merchandise had been removed and the place looked completely abandoned. I asked another retailer in the area and they said that The Mad Mexican from down the street was going to be moving in there. The downside is that we have lost what was at one time a great little local market which was very convenient. The upside is that the area won't suffer by having another restaurant.
It's worth noting that Wally's Smoke which is around the corner on Annette Street now sells milk, eggs, cheese and bread. Plus Jug Mart down the street stocks a lot of items as well.
R.I.P. Alfredo's
