  • Even though it does not say this ANYWHERE in any of the fine print of the $22 for $27 car wash voucher, it was NOT accepted at the exterior car wash lane (which is separate from the rest of the car wash lanes). I was told that I had to pay for the exterior wash outside and the only way the voucher can be used is if I went inside the store and purchased and interior AND exterior wash and they could scan the voucher inside. Even though I showed the attendant the voucher and pulled up the deal on Yelp, where it does not say anywhere that it cannot be used for an exterior wash that can only be paid for outside and only for an interior + exterior wash which apparently must be redeemed inside their store, he would not accept it. Additionally, the one and only time I was here (2 weeks ago) and had an exterior wash I was given a stamp card where the 10th stamp gives you a free silver wash, he wouldn't stamp it. He said I had to purchase a silver wash or better to be eligible for a stamp. Regardless of the fact that it was clearly stamped for the exterior wash I purchased 2 weeks ago, he refused to stamp it. Alamo needs to make these caveats VERY clear to their customers prior to purchase of the voucher, otherwise this very much feels like a "bait and switch". I am very disappointed.
