  • I had a great time at Kid Cashew! First of walking in and getting one of my favorite bartenders in Charlotte was a plus. Matt is awesome. On top of making some fine cocktails he told us the best things to try on the menu. Starting off we had the calamari which was amazing, no complaints there. For my main dish I had the lamb burger which was perfect. I had it medium rare, and it still wasn't gamey tasting which it can make it or break it. Defiantly an awesome choice. My friend had the chicken, which honestly I was against since common I can make chicken at home and it comes out pretty decent. I must say that chicken was hella good. It was at that fall of the bone juicy stage, perfect (yeah, my chicken isn't like that at home...). For sides we went with the wild rice- yummmm, and then the white beans -ehhh. So probably my fault on the white beans, I was picturing white string beans for some reason and these were white bean beans which I don't like. For being beans they weren't half bad but honestly it's a texture thing. For dessert we knocked back a bottle of wine. Perfect way to end the evening. Must say I will definitely be back!
