  • One of the better Mexican places I've been in Charlotte. The atmosphere was great and our waitress was very attentive. We started with a $3 margarita on special and the jalapeño margarita. The $3 one was ok, but the jalapeño margarita was excellent. There was fresh, muddled jalapeños in the bottom of the glass. Spicy and delicious. We also had their guacamole, which was the best guacamole I've had in Charlotte yet. The salsa for the table was also great. My boyfriend ordered the cauliflower taco and avocado taco with a side of plantains. They were both great, with the cauliflower being the favorite. I ordered the short rib taco and the ahi tuna taco with Mexican street corn. Both were great with the short rib as the winner. My only beef: the plantains and my short rib taco were cold. We had to ask for another of both. The replacements were waaaay better and quite good actually. I just wish that had happened the first time. Great hangout and good good. I'll go back.
