  • I played the Faldo course this morning. It is in absolutely terrible condition. Fairways are barren for the most part, greens won't hold any shots. Even the tee boxes are in terrible shape. When I was asked how my round was and I answered honestly, I was told "how much did you pay though?". Absolutely irrelevant. If you are a halfway decent golfer stay clear of this place. Zero imagination, not difficult at all. It seems that Faldo just walked the property whilst sipping on a bottle of Jameson's and pointed at places where bunkers should be. I couldn't imagine paying two bills to play this track that is setup more like a municipal course in peak season. Lastly, if you market your course as "tough" because of the 100+ bunkers, you should at least ensure there is an ample amount of sand in them.
