Ray's operation is truly impressive.
He has a team of 2 old timer that lovingly care for vintage vehicles to "keep them on the road" and 2 yourger mechanics that work on the newer stuff.
Ray is super upfront on all the issues that need immediate attention and stuff that can wait.
This shop loves old cars! 1 of ray's guys is a german specialist, another one works on american makes); as a result, my 73 mercedes was babied. The mechanic looked at the entire car (vs what I was asking him to check to save on $$) and fixed all he could regardless of whether it was in the initial quote or not!
They also detailed the car to the point that I could not recognize it (they buffed the paint so much that the paint looked it was 2 years old).
When I asked Ray how much I owed him, he said: "no charge my detail guy was slow and we felt your car could use it": Unbelievable!
FCAS also has the best shuttle service in the state! but USSHHH, it's a secret!
Ray sometimes gets behind the steering wheel of his gorgeous Shelby to drop off lucky customers. I (along with my neighbors) will remember this experience for a long time!
Since FCAS also has one of the lowest hourly rate in the east valley (let alone Scottsdale!), it is an easy choice. They made me a repeat happy customer, and I hope they will for you too.
