Sooooo good! We came in after having breakfast next door at Eat, and got a couple of donuts to go for a lazy Friday morning in on a coworkers suggestion. He's a donut connoisseur so I had pretty high expectations. Normally donuts are really "pretty" and look appealing but don't follow through with an amazing flavor. The man-friend also agreed before going in that he was tired of being disappointed by donut places that had a funny after taste and completely let you down.
At 10AM they had a full case of regular and specialty donuts. Never having tried a cronut (I know) we got that and the cookies & cream one. I. Loved. Mine!! So flakey, sweet, and tender that I was so mad when I accidentally left it behind at home before going to work. I wasn't too crazy about the filling of the Oreo one, but it was his donut and he was really impressed. It had a whipped cream topping and a whipped cream center filled with crushed Oreos and it wasn't really my thing. Almost knocked a star off for how "expensive" they are. $5.00 for two donuts compared to other shops around town is a little steep, but I can only imagine the sky high rent that is paid in that tiny Summerlin shopping center. It's totally worth it though, and I'm happy we stopped by!
