  • I can't live in Toronto and NOT review the CN Tower. A note I posted from a previous review applies here: ++ HIGHLY recommended: Get a CityPass (approx 55 dollars) that allows you to go to the Zoo, the ROM, the Science Center, Casa Loma, and the CN Tower over the course of nine days. Even as a native Torontonian, I bought one to take a friend from out of town, and had a fantastic time. The prices were reasonable on their own to get into the CN Tower. Waits for the elevators, but not unreasonable. I had been here a few times as a child and wanted to go as an adult (I have a horrible fear of heights now, I didn't then!) The elevator going up is pretty cool. You can pay extra to visit the SkyPod, an extra. much higher level of the CN Tower (we didn't), or you can do the infamous SkyWalk (that one is not on my bucket list. Cool, but not for me!) What you CAN do up there for the price of admission: + freak out in the quick moving elevator (oh, that was just me?) + Visit the cafe (they have ice cream and drinks. etc) + Visit the revolving restaurant (well, that is extra. Look up reviews for 360 for the specific place). + Go out on the observatory level, (protected by thick mesh, don't worry)-- caution. WINDY! + Look through sets of binoculars + Go on the glass floor (very crowded, usually, but very worth it! Scary, but I found the courage to go on it) It is not too expensive (like I said, awesome value in a CityPass), but it's kind of one of those must-do things. It's not disappointing, it's just that I feel that it's something you do for the thrill of it once (or twice, if you have friends visiting Toronto) but not something you repeatedly want to go back to. It's the most prominent feature of Toronto's skyline. Visit it!
