  • This is not the type of place I would ever review but since they asked, I suppose I will. I called to make an appointment and they were able to schedule me for an afternoon the next week with a nurse practitioner. However, they called the day before my appointment and left a voicemail telling me that the nurse practitioner for my scheduled appointment was not going to be in that day and that I should call them back to confirm an appointment 40 min earlier with a different nurse practitioner. This wasn't necessarily ideal since it was very short notice and I would have to leave work even earlier than planned but I decided I could make it work. The day of my appointment I showed up 5-10 min early for my 1:20 appointment because I figured there would be some new patient paperwork in addition to the forms I had already printed out online and completed. Reception desk was very unfriendly although they did seem to be efficient. I completed my paperwork, then sat to wait. And wait. And wait. Many patients arrived and left within the time I sat waiting. Nobody up front updated me or apologized for the wait. Finally shortly after 2 pm I was called back by a nurse. She did offer a quick apology for the wait but it would've been nice if there was some sort of explanation for 45+ min of waiting. I know doctor's offices rarely run on time but that seems excessive. Why should I even bother making an appointment if it will be changed last minute and there will be no consideration for my time? I can't remember the name of the nurse practitioner that saw me but she was nice enough. She also offered a quick apology on the wait and said it had been a crazy day. Perhaps they could give patients a head up in the future? The exam took about 10 minutes and I was on my way by about 2:30. All in all the frustrating wait time, lack of concern, and last minute cancellation/changes make this a practice I will probably not return to. I can only imagine how much more frustrating it would be when I'm pregnant and uncomfortable.
