  • Extremely knowledgeable, genuinely honest and exceptional customer experience. Greg (owner) was entrusted with my prized 7mm Sako rifle. The rifle was purchased by my father in the early 1980's, never fired and recently passed down to me. While test firing the rifle in June with my own sons, I encountered some difficulty with the internal cartridge - not loading correctly. I asked John to inspect and correct any / all issues. John provided me with an initial estimate and advised that he would reach out to me if he encountered any issues or should the rifle require additional work / parts. I suspected that the scope was either not properly calibrated or possibly damaged while in my father's possession or shipment to my home. I chatted with Greg briefly and found him to be highly knowledgeable on a broad range of topics. Like my father, John had a long history with guns (from his childhood), throughout his military career, and then as a businessman. Dialing forward, Greg called me to advise my rifle was ready for pick-up. I returned to the shop and was, again, pleasantly surprised on several dimensions. Greg had inspected the rifle completely; found no defects, repairs, cleaning, etc. were required; laser calibrated the scope (advising me that is was in good order and not in need of replacement); AND charged me less than the original estimate .... I was shocked but not surprised, and was quite pleased that my instincts about Greg were on point. By the way, the issue was due to my improper loading of the rounds; however, Greg delivered the news with the utmost sensitivity and even spent time providing me with tips for improved accuracy and care. Thank you Greg!
