  • Love nostalgic moments ~ When I was a kid and lived in Cali there happened to be a Thrifty on my way to the school bus and let's just say I had a lot of ice cream back in those days :) My flavor of choice as a kid was rainbow sherbet! My mouth would turn orange, green & purple and I couldn't lie to my parents ever when they asked if I had any ice cream before coming home :) The unique shape the ice cream scoopers make is fun and this place has an old school feel to it. Is the ice cream the best? No is the honest truth. But for me it's nostalgic and sometimes you need some of that flavor in life. It's also cheaper then most of the other bigger guys and they have lots of flavors. Counted 32 on my last visit. They also make shakes, malts, banana sundaes and other fun stuff along with fresh waffle cones that always smell amazing!
