  • The Phoenix Art Museum is a modern art museum located in downtown Phoenix. It is a large and modern complex with lots of parking and located on the light rail system. Admission is rather expensive with special exhibitions adding extra fees. The museum has a large and winding layout focusing on modern and experimental art. I have visited this museum for many years and continue to be impressed by their choices of edgy and controversial art in an otherwise conservative area. This is a great option to escape the heat during the summer or for anyone wanting to expand their minds with unique and poignant art.
