This place has a new name - Yummies, I think, and I was less than thrilled with some of the changes. I have been a regular here for several years and used their punch card as well as their card that they scan to give you credits toward discounts.
When we went in on Sunday and learned about the name change the girl working told me that they are no longer part of the Orange Leaf franchise, but the owner and the products are the same. So I was disappointed that my 10 punches that would have given me a free yogurt a few weeks ago got me only 10 points toward the required 30 points needed to get a dollar off future purchases. If it was the same owner, why wouldn't he honor the previous deals that they had offered?
I did get a text message once I signed up for their program, offering me a BOGO to be used in the next 2 weeks. The yogurt and toppings have not changed, so I'm still a fan of that.
Finally, they either raised the prices or the girl charged us wrong. The cash register was not hooked up to the scale and she had to work it out on a calculator But for our 2 small and 1 large yogurts the price was $15. I have never spent anywhere near that amount on yogurt before. But I didn't really give it any thought until we were in the car headed home. Next time I'll pay more attention to the per ounce price and the scale.
