I go out of my way to get their adobada pork. This place has the most amazing adobada pork entree. It is enough for two meals and is totally worth the price.
The smoked peppers/chipotle or hatch peppers makes it spicy but not so much that you're pouring with sweat. The salsa is a bit spice-LESS so I wouldn't have a problem letting an 80 year old guest of mine with no tolerance for spice eat it. It's tasty, just not spicy at all.
If you aren't satisfied with the spice from the salsa, just wait. Each entree I had came with s unique kick of its own. Te salsa then became a nice "cooler" for the heat.
Service is good. Typical well known "been there forever" restaurant level of service. Could be more efficient but not bad to the point where it affects the meal. Just remember that you're there for the food and not necessarily structured wait staff. I really like this place for a great meal.
