  • I have utilized this location for a complex bridesmaid dress alteration before and had a good experience. Recently I went back for a much more simple alteration of a casual dress that needed taking in on the waist area only. No lining etc. Very very simple. The lady who was giving me a price quote seemed to come across as price gauging every little thing. Her quote was higher than anticipated. The dress cost new at the store for around $48. The quote for a simple take in at the waist only , no lining started at +$30. The material wasn't difficult or elegant either, just basic polyester. I went ahead and had them do the alterations after the clerk told me everything extra they had to do. When I went in to pick it up I turned the dress inside out to see how they did the stitching. They just did a basic straight stitch through. Not all the extra complicated stuff she was trying to tell me to justify the price. This was rather upsetting with how much they charged me. I finished the other alterations at home with my basic sewing machine and it turned out fine without having to get ripped off again. I was disappointed because my experience prior to this was a good one but now I feel hesitant to go back.
