  • Purchased a Hoover Dirt Devil last November. After a couple of uses the cord overheated and the vacuum stopped working. Called the number on the back of the vacuum and they sent me to A2Z Vacuums. Dropped it off there mid December for repair and was told by the gentleman to call back in a month. He then tried to sell me a $400 Miele vacuum. Called A2Z back in mid-Jan and the owner of A2Z vacuums told me, "I don't make any money on this so call Hoover yourself, here is the number and claim." Okay, rude and unhelpful but what the heck, no biggie. I called Hoover and they said he just called in the claim that day and they haven't got the vacuum yet. So I called him back and he told me to "f*ck off", said he has plenty of customers and doesn't "give a sh*t about me". When I calmly explained that this approach was not good for business, he hung up. That was about six weeks ago. Hoover is sending us a new vacuum directly so we can avoid dealing with this man. BTW, I looked A2Z up on-line and noticed that the owner has been abusive to other customers in the same manner. If you can avoid this place, save yourself the abuse.
