| - OK, I haven't been here in a while and it's time to update. Really fun store to browse. Clothing, home accessories, furniture, etc. all in one place.
I noticed as I was walking through that so much of the home stuff is damaged. Glass that is shattered, wood that is cracked, paint that is chipped, fabric that is stained, etc. Every price tag shows the actual price and the "original" price and, given the state of some of these items, the markdowns are not great enough! Sure, you can get really stylish furniture pieces for a percentage off, but what good are they when they're that damaged? It seems you're taking a gamble purchasing big items from here...
I did notice that some of the merchandise really is brand name stuff. I saw a desk clock from Pottery Barn for half the original price. I bet it's discontinued from PB now, or from quite some time ago. These deals aren't quite cheap enough for me to take the leap. I'd rather get home accessories from Target, Homegoods, etc. for a little cheaper. I've learned the art of mixing expensive and inexpensive, and this place hasn't quite crossed over to "inexpensive".
They have baby furniture, which is good to know. I'll soon be on the hunt for a kids' craft table and chairs and they had the cutest items here!!!
Won't come here looking for anything specific or with anything in mind, but would come to browse. Don't see myself ever making any large purchases.
