Forever in my heart.
I discovered this place back in 2014 when I was visiting for Life is Beautiful festival 2014. I have been going to this place every single time when visiting Vegas since then. Most times it's been multiple visits here during every Vegas trip! Location is right between the new strip and the old strip - nearby the Stratosphere from what I can remember.
Other than the arepas, I've tried their empanadas, pastelitos, french fries, and their yucca root. All of them have been really good but nothing will top their arepas! I've had arepas at Bay Area music festivals but never like the ones they make here. Before this place, I've only had plain arepas. Never did I know that these babies can be served in a sandwich pocket-like form.
I'm a pescatarian so I could only speak for the non red meat items. Their chachapa (corn and cheese arepas) are on a sweeter side - definitely pretty tasty but it's pretty greasy to what I'm used to ordering here. When I'm here I usually order two arepas - both flavors differ each other. They are more than happy to custom your order.
The two sauces they offer with these arepas are also pretty good! I remember one is of a creamy consistency and the other one is just green sauce. I love their green sauce! It's got a bit a kick of spice to it.
My meat eater friends seem to love it as well. Not too sure on what they get but all of it looks delicious.
Service is great, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The place itself is pretty spacious - tons of room to sit. The parking lot is a bit small.
I've been almost 4 months since I've last been here (the longest I've been without it :( ) and I'm suuuuuuuper missing this place.
I wish their hours went beyond midnight. There were too many times after a night out in Vegas when I wish I had arepas. They do delivery as well! Haven't tried that yet though.
