I can safely say that this is the worst dining experience I've had in the last year.
Guy took 30min to take our order on a Sunday evening. We had mango chicken and jerk chicken.
The jerk chicken (3.5/5) was flavorful but unbalanced. The spiciness covered up the other flavors and for 16.00$, I expected more than a single chicken breast.
The mango chicken (1/5), another Chef's speciality, sounded so much more interesting than it tasted. Imagine dipping slices of salted chicken breast in mango nectar (concentrated mango juice essentially), that would be an accurate description of the flavor profile.
Water tasted like detergent that wasn't washed off.
Restaurant empty on a Sunday around 7pm on Mackay and Ste-Catherine.
One song playing on repeat during my 1.5h dinner.
This is definitely not a 4.5/5 restaurant.
