  • I honestly believe I may have to go to corporate on this one. I purchased some living room furniture at Value City (not at this location, but at another one). Have had no problems with the furniture, actually I absolutely love it. But when I moved across country, my movers "lost" some of my cushions. I happened to be in the area of this location, and thought I would ask them if I could replace them. They found the information for the cushions, placed the order, and told me that it would take a couple of weeks for the shipment to come in. I said, fine - I'm not in a rush to get the cushions. Meaning - I want them as soon as possible, but if they need extra time I have no issues. The only reason I remembered was because my mom reminded me...so I made the call to check on the status. The first time I called, a representative told me there was a service order on my account, which she didn't understand. She stated that she would call me back - and I never received that call. I called again on a Saturday, and talked to another representative. She checked the warehouse and they told her that my items were not there. She told me that she would call back once she received the tracking number from them. Did not receive a call back from her. So now it's Monday, and at this point I'm very irritated. Not so much as the items not being in, but I'm irritated more with no one being able to give me a straight answer. I talked to another representative, who indicated that he would need to call me back because the warehouse was not answering. I'm like, that's fine. He actually returned my call and stated that the warehouse did not have my items - and he was unsure when they would come in. I asked if there was a tracking number for these items - and he didn't have it. I asked whether I could contact the supplier directly (if they had that information) and he stated that he needed to email his boss with the information. He also informed me that I would receive a call from his boss about the status. I'm completely fed up. I ordered these cushions at the end of May, and they still have not arrived. I've paid for a product, and yet it has been almost 3 months and I still don't have that product. And no one can give me a straight answer about the location of these items. It makes me wonder, has the order even been placed?
