  • A lovely spot that I would go to more often except for two things: the steep access down Brimley Road and the limited paid parking. It is best to go on a weekday and when it is not crowded. There are plenty of spaces for sitting and enjoying the view, having picnics etc. Therefore, it is quite popular. We generally have good experiences there save one. We unfortunately came across an extremely unfriendly and unprofessional City male staff member that was locking up the women's bathrooms. He was rushing women out of the bathroom and would not let anyone in even though there were a few women in need to go. It was one minute to the bathroom closing time. We issued a complaint with the City since his behaviour was inappropriate. However, I do not think they did much about it. Be vigilant if you are using the facilities as we don't know if he still works there.
