  • My previous review was positive but I've been a few times in the past few months and have been pretty disappointed. First, the desserts seem to be gone. The sfagliatelle, cannoli, and other desserts are gone. A friend picked up a couple of baguettes from here another time and they were both so salty they were almost inedible. For me the major complaint is freshness. I recently picked up a vegetable pizza (which is essentially a flatbread with oil and onions, zucchini, peppers) and when I cut into it, noticed there was mould on it in several spots. I called and was told to go back for a refund. I asked the employee how often they are made and was told "every two days". If this is the case, their refrigerated counters must not be at the right temperature or they're using mouldy vegetables to begin with. For mould to develop in 2 days on a "fresh" product in a refrigerator makes no sense. In any case, I definitely won't be returning any time soon.
