| - I've been listening to KTAR for years, back before they moved sports to 620. I always found it entertaining and somewhat insightful, if not opinionated. But the last year or so has just reiterated that KTAR has a middle-aged white guy problem - as in that's the only opinions we hear. Bruce in the morning is alright, but his opinions feel contrived and more an opposing springboard for Pamela than an actual thought-out opinion. As for Mac and Gaydos - oy. Alot of shouting and honestly kinda vulgar - not swearing or anything, but alot of name calling, and I can't listen to it with the kids in the car, they actually request that i shut it off because it makes them uncomfortable. Yesterday was the nail in the coffin - listening to mac and gaydos chide a coworker for going to see Adele, a current, relevant, global-selling artist, while Gaydos went on and on about paying actual money to watch Axl Rose gyrate and sweat for an hour, was mind numbing and reaffirmed how out of touch they are. I heard someone mention a few weeks ago that their cohost was getting a little loud, and they joked they should bring it down to NPR level, to which they both scoffed. I scoffed as well - as if KTAR could have that much class.
